General Operations
This directory functions as the authenticated entry point for Torzon Market. Since the marketplace operates as a hidden service on the Tor network without a fixed IP address, we provide cryptographically signed .onion mirrors. This node ensures users bypass malicious copycats and connect directly to the verified infrastructure.
Torzon utilizes V3 Onion Services. When a user inputs a .onion address into the Tor Browser, the connection is routed through three random nodes (Guard, Middle, Exit), encrypting data at each step. This architecture obfuscates the physical location of both the client and the marketplace server, ensuring operational anonymity.
Stealth Mode is a bandwidth-optimization and privacy feature available to Basic-Plus and Premium users. It disables the rendering of product images across the interface. This reduces latency on the Tor network significantly and prevents visual snooping in unsecured environments.
Security Architecture
PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) provides the mathematical certainty required for trustless environments. By importing the market's public key, users can verify the digital signature of mirrors, ensuring they are not on a spoofed site. Furthermore, PGP is required for 2FA login and encrypting shipping data, rendering it unreadable to anyone but the intended vendor.
Upon enabling 2FA, the server will present an encrypted challenge block during login. This block can only be decrypted using your private PGP key. The decrypted text serves as the one-time authentication token. This protocol ensures that even if a password is compromised, the account remains inaccessible without the physical private key.
Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are common against Tor hidden services. The Link Rotator is a load-balancing mechanism that cycles through a pool of active mirror URLs. If the primary mirror (ending in ...yfqd.onion) is congested, users should utilize the alternative mirrors listed in the directory to distribute traffic load.
Financial Protocols
Torzon supports dual-stack payments. Bitcoin offers high liquidity but operates on a transparent ledger. Monero (XMR) is the recommended standard for operational security, utilizing Ring Signatures and Stealth Addresses to obfuscate transaction origins and amounts. XMR transactions are structurally untraceable on the blockchain.
All orders are secured via Escrow. Funds are locked in a market wallet until the buyer confirms receipt. The protocol enforces a 14-day Auto-Finalize (AF) timer. If the buyer takes no action within this window, funds are released to the vendor. Buyers may extend the AF timer (2x for Basic, 3x for Premium) if logistics delays occur.
Bitcoin deposits require 1 blockchain confirmation (approx. 10 mins). Monero deposits require 10 confirmations (approx. 20-30 mins) due to the dynamic nature of the XMR blockchain and potential reorganization risks. Users should always verify the deposit address is current before broadcasting a transaction.
Vendor & Dispute Protocol
Vendor status is restricted to users who pay a non-refundable bond of $300 USD. This capital requirement filters out low-quality actors. Established vendors from other markets may apply for a bond waiver via the support ticketing system, provided they can offer cryptographic proof of identity (PGP signed message). Market commission is flat-rate at 4%.
If a dispute is opened, the escrow funds are frozen. The system creates a mediation channel for the buyer and vendor. If no resolution is reached within 72 hours, a moderator intervenes. The moderator reviews chat logs, order terms, and vendor history. Decisions are final. Note: Attempting to resolve disputes outside the market (e.g., via Wickr) forfeits buyer protection.
Torzon enforces strict ethical boundaries. The following items are strictly prohibited: Child Exploitation Material (CSAM), Fentanyl/Carfentanyl (and analogues), Weapons/Explosives, Poisons/Toxins, and Assassination services. Any attempt to list these items results in an immediate account ban and forfeiture of all funds and bonds.
